WHAT YOU NEED WHEN THE FACTORY HAS NOTHING SORTED

Toyota delivers a 70 Series with about as much built-in storage as a bare shipping container. Generous cargo bay, almost no organisation. Owners spend the first six months of ownership figuring out where to put everything, then end up with a bunch of bolt-on storage and utility gear that should have been on the spec sheet from new. Drawer kits, molle panels, fridge slides, tailgate tables, rear bars with jerry can carriers, gullwing windows on the wagon, overhead storage in the cab. This collection brings all of those together for the 70 Series so the planning gets done in one go.

HEAVY-DUTY BUILD QUALITY FOR REAL USE

Drawer kits in this range use full-extension runners rated to around 100kg per slide, on a frame of marine-grade ply or powder-coated steel with carpet or vinyl wrapping. Molle panels are CNC cut from powder-coated aluminium with standard PALS spacing for compatibility with the major brand pouches and brackets. Tailgate tables fold flush against the door when stowed and lock open with rated stoppers. Rear bars are 3mm steel with gas-strut assisted swing arms for spare wheels and jerry cans. The build quality across the range is built for years of corrugated outback roads, not for showroom photos.

BODY-STYLE SPECIFIC FITMENT

Storage gear is sized to the specific 70 Series body it suits. Drawer kits are different for the 76 Wagon boot, the 78 Troopy cargo bay, and the 79 dual cab tub or canopy. Tailgate tables fit either the wagon tailgate, the Troopy barn doors, or the ute tailgate, and the mounting differs between them. Gullwing windows suit the wagon body only.
