FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Yes, it is made specifically for the 75 Series Troopy (roughly 1985 to 1999) and the 78 Series Troopy (1999 to current), including the later V8 and 2024 facelift models. It secures onto the rear door and the existing points on your Troopy with no drilling or modification. If you are unsure which model you have, send us your build year and we will confirm it before you order.
This is the one setup to watch. The ladder is not suitable if your vehicle is fitted with a dual wheel carrier, as it needs the standard rear door mounting points to sit properly. If you are running a rear bar or wheel carrier, check with us first and we will let you know what will and won't work for your build.
This is a straightforward job you can do in the driveway. It bolts onto the rear door and existing points with no drilling and no cutting, and it comes supplied with the installation hardware and fitting instructions. Basic hand tools are all you need to get it on and start loading the roof rack.
It is built to be stood on and used, not just for looks. The ladder is made from steel and aluminium with a load rating of 110kg, and it is finished in the same tough black powder coating as the Front Runner racks so it holds up to the weather and the tracks. It gives you safe, easy access to your gear and cargo up top.
Owners rate this one highly, with a solid 4.5 star review average, and the powder-coated steel and alloy build is designed to match the finish of a Front Runner rack. For easy roof access on a Troopy without a big spend, it represents genuine value, and if anything is not right when it arrives we will look after you.
